The KSEA Nevada Chapter will be established in 2026 to foster a professional community of scientists, engineers, faculty, and students across the Nevada System of Higher Education. The chapter will serve as a platform to connect Korean-American professionals and students within Nevada to the broader network of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association, strengthening collaboration at both regional and national levels.
Our members represent diverse disciplines and institutions throughout NSHE, including research universities, state colleges, and community colleges. By bringing together expertise from multiple campuses and sectors, the chapter will promote interdisciplinary collaboration, professional networking, and research partnerships that address regional and global scientific challenges.
The Nevada Chapter is committed to supporting professional development, mentoring students and early-career researchers, and advancing STEM education and outreach within the state. Through seminars, workshops, youth programs, and industry engagement, we aim to cultivate the next generation of scientists and engineers while enhancing the visibility and impact of Korean-American professionals in Nevada.
